Every year I have an owl that makes its home outside within sight of my veranda.  I chose this year to paint a long horned owl to hang in my Tattoo Studio keeping watch on me.  I desided as well to adorn her with a mandala crown.  The original canvas painting was a mixed media piece using joint compound, oils, shiva stix,papers, and acrylic.
